UCSA President Víctor Sánchez announces candidacy for USSA Vice President

In Uncategorized on July 8, 2010 at 6:43 am

“As USSA’s National Student Congress nears, I would like to announce my candidacy for Vice President of the United States Student Association (USSA)

Now, more than ever, the time to build upon what has been established this past year has never been more clear. I am running for Vice President of USSA because I believe education is a RIGHT and not a privilege. As President of the University of California Student Association (UCSA) this past year, I helped lead efforts for a more accessible, affordable, diverse, and quality education. We won concrete victories along the way that would touch off a new era in student activism. I have organized to motivate and foster the student movement nationally and internationally and these experiences have testified that real POWER and real ACTION yields real CHANGE. I hope to bring this and much more to the great organizing USSA continues to do.”

-Víctor Sánchez
